At this link you can access today's lecture about Ritual Practices, and at the link below you can visit the research website-archive of students work from Spring 2020:
We are not assigning a reading for next Friday March 26, since we still have the other readings to discuss, but we suggest to give a look at the following book:
Eric J. Jenkins, Drawn to Design : Analyzing Architecture Through Freehand Drawing, Birkhäuser, 2013
We are anticipating the next reading to be done + comment posted on Blog for Thursday April 1st. The reading is:
Rafael Moneo, On Typologies, Oppositions 13, MIT Press, 1978
Finally, the sketchbook we suggest purchasing is:
Moleskine "Quaderno Cahier Journal" XL (Extra-Large), 19x25 cm. WHITE paper.
You can find it at this page. The soft cover version is cheap and comes in a pack of 3. Hard cover is also fine but not required:

Also, we recommend Mechanical Pencils, 0.5 &/or 0.7 mm. (The Pentel 205D & 207D are good examples). Otherwise HB & 2B pencils with sharpeners.
Below some suggestions for places to find supplies in Florence. (PS note "Il Plastico" has closed permanently):

Have a great weekend!
Best regards,
Jane & Luca
