basilica di san lorenzo
piazza San Lorenzo is confronted by the 'unfinished' Michelangelo facade. the stone reinforces the horizontal material logics within the tripartite facade, which depending on the proximity to the scan, reveals various resolutions of itself. i also find it peculiar how the scanning process has 'glitched' the stair; there is a suggestion of undulation that is not present at the actual site. people who were sitting or standing in frame are also fragmented/displaced within the scan, which produces some funny/noteworthy moments and interactions.
