Ponta Tura is an important historical node in the development of the city of Grosseto. Its linear development from the flow of the Ombrone River is a result of physical manipulation, as well as a deep-rooted history of change. This history, as well as the larger cultural record of the nation, can all be seen through the land, but also through the lens of film. Film was used as a means of marking what once was the fascist control over the land. Propaganda was widely used as a means of seizing control over a new, experimental form of media that was to be known as the movie.
Films and images are powerful propaganda medium, and we inevitably perceive history through these materials. They are not history. They are far from history. They are the projection of history.

In such a place, each piece of media would be a beacon. Only when they appear equally and form a whole network can we know more clearly where we are and where we should be.
This is what projection do, it is a tool, tool to place, tool to move forward.
