Decomposing Tree

Walking in our Orbetello site, I noticed this fallen over tree. The decomposing branches points out the lengthy time span of abandoned within the site. The color also makes this object seem lifeless and no longer organic, it had a chalky pale tone. The strength of the bark is no longer present as well leaving this object looking limp and veiny.
