Tempietto Underground
This scan of the underground space of Tempietto di Bramante was taken through a (gated) doorway at the base of the stairs. The underground altar space has walls adorned with frescoes and a ceiling covered in ornamental carvings. The space has a meditative but slightly eerie quality.
