Una colonna maiolicata da chiostro delle Clarisse
This is actually from my trip to Napoli, but I was so fascinated by these columns that I wanted to see how they would respond to scanning. They seem like worthy additions to the student archive, anyway; the large Chiostro di Santa Chiara (from which these ceramic tiled columns are taken) has a pretty interesting history of expansion, autonomous segmentation, destruction, preservation, and excavation. I took a lot of notes while there, so it seemed close enough to a survey.
